ABOUT THE ARCHIVE
A second home
for the words we found.
This archive brings together recovered writing from Olivia’s blog. It is a partial recovery, not a whole-site backup or a copy of the original WordPress installation.
What is here
- 124 historical URLs, spanning 6 September 2014 to 27 December 2017, with recovered bodies for all 124 known entries.
- 181 archived displayed images, plus four clearly labeled possible originals whose historical use could not be directly verified.
- Images placed at saved URL placeholders or positions supported by adjoining archived text. Where an image could not be recovered, the post says “Image was lost.”
- The original dated URL paths, including numeric slugs and possible alternate versions.
- Twenty-two recovered historical comments with their original comment anchors.
- Search by text, year and recovery status.
What remains incomplete
Some images, videos, the original database and the WordPress theme remain unavailable. Recovered archived images may be resized copies rather than full-resolution originals. Four image candidates are marked where they appear, and are not presented as verified historical matches.
This is not a complete comment archive. The 22 included comments came from ordinary WordPress new-comment notifications. Later edits or deletions, exact comment timestamps and reply threading could not be verified. No invented comments have been added.
Some text was recovered from WordPress notification emails and some from rendered Internet Archive pages. Neither guarantees a byte-for-byte copy of the deleted original. Where more than one saved source exists for a URL, this reading edition uses one recovered body rather than repeating the same article. Recovery of these 124 entries does not establish that every original post has been found.
Dates follow the original URL paths, with a newsletter publication label also saved for the December 2017 entry. Exact publication times and timezones remain unverified. This archive uses a new layout and does not reproduce the original design.
Inline article hyperlinks have not all been reconstructed. URL text is retained where it was saved; original link markup may be missing. The 22 recovered comments retain their original anchors; anchors for unrecovered comments are unavailable.
Eight possible duplicate or version pairs
These entries remain separate at their original paths. They may be duplicates or different versions. No merge or redirect has been applied, and 124 URLs is not a count of 124 distinct articles.
